I would love to win this. I am teaching 5th grade math and science this year after 20 years of 7th and 8th grade language arts. I don't have much in the way of equipment or supplies for experiments. If this doesn't fall under hands on, high interest science, I don't know what does. After the chicks hatch I will give them to a friend who has chickens. They start loosing fertility after a couple of days and your hatch success rate goes down each day–so don't set them aside too early! ;)
