Merry Christmas! I love reading the updates and plan on trying the roast recipe. I also have four girls and one has just started laying. She is laying in the roost area not in the nest boxes. Is there a way to train her to lay in the nest box instead? I had some material in the box and they pulled it out and laid the egg there the first time. Now I am just finding them in the roost.
I could use a bag of Nutrena! Merry Xmas everyone!
I love all the DIY suggestions, especially the chicken wreath. The chickens, they do love their Nutrena Layer feed :)
I love you blog. I would LOVE to win a free bag of feed for the chicks I will be getting in February. It will be my first flock :). Small due to city restrictions, but more than it would have been if I hadn't be able to make the changes to the Backyard Chicken code. It used to be 4 hens with neighbor approval, I was able to get the neighbor approval requirement removed and got the number of hens increased to 6!!!!
I hope I'm entered!
