Blaze (Black Copper Marans rooster) is doing much better since his hospitalization. He is back in the flock, his crow has returned in full force & he’s working on putting weight back on and opening his left eye all the way. ♥

I love looking at your flock almost as much as I love looking at mine. I subscribe to your blog via email. In SC, it's been unnaturally cool but I cut up an apple and chilled it for a while. I cut out the core and cut it into tiny bits and frozen them. I presented it nicely on a plate, sat it down in the middle of the run and three minutes later, Aretha was standing in the middle of the plate flapping her wings and all the apples were strewn on the ground.
