What a wonderful prize! I am confused now about fermented feed. I was at a poultry class put on by the poultry professors at UGA and they said that since a chickens intestines are so much shorter than ours, and that the entire digestive process is different from ours that fermented feed doesn’t offer them any benefit. They also said that it just makes for gloppy poop that is not normal and doesn’t run through them as well…. there must be two sides to this issue?
