I would LOVE to try this product. currently use rice hulls and they are pretty awesome so would be curious to compare the two.

I'm new to raising chickens in my back yard. I have a coop with a rooster and four hens. I have read everything I can on the materials to put in the coop. I went with natural sand and sand has been in my coop for three weeks. I clean it out once a week. Its starting to smell pretty good. Any thoughts?
I just read about your loop clean* and I need this for my coop, too bad its almost two states away!

I just started raising chickens. I've read everything I can on the different types of bedding to use. I went with sand. Its only in my roost right now and so far its OK. The sand has been in it for three weeks. I scoop the poop out once a week. I only have four hens and a rooster right now but in a couple of weeks I will be adding six more girls. Its starting to smell pretty strong already. Any ideas or thoughts on what I can do different?I would really love to use koop clean* but its… Read more »
