It was a difficult week here at Blazing Trails Farm with the unexpected passing of Brutus, my six month old Mille Fleur Serama cockerel. He had a special place in my heart I am thankful for the time I had to appreciate his beauty, confidence and spunk while he was here. He was a joy to photograph and I have chosen to celebrate his life by continuing to share his larger-than-life personality through them. RIP little buddy.

This is how Brutus would have wanted to be remembered. ☺ I know Brutus would have been thrilled to know that his necropsy report noted his “well developed testicles.”  Atta boy, Brutus.

So sorry for your loss. Brutus was a charismatic, handsome Roo! Like all of my bantam Roos (Silver Duckwing Old English Bantam, White Silkie, Black Silkie, and White Silkie/Ameraucana Cross) , he strutted, as though he was at least 6 feet tall! RIP Brutus!
