It was a difficult week here at Blazing Trails Farm with the unexpected passing of Brutus, my six month old Mille Fleur Serama cockerel. He had a special place in my heart I am thankful for the time I had to appreciate his beauty, confidence and spunk while he was here. He was a joy to photograph and I have chosen to celebrate his life by continuing to share his larger-than-life personality through them. RIP little buddy.
This is how Brutus would have wanted to be remembered. ☺ I know Brutus would have been thrilled to know that his necropsy report noted his “well developed testicles.” Atta boy, Brutus.

but what caused the hemorrhage? You don't just start bleeding without a reason…
Wow. THank you for posting this report. I hope they find a true cause. Brutus was such a sweet little guy and I enjoyed watching all of his escapades as you posted them. Sudden death on a perfectly healthy animal is always suspicious and I am praying for the truth to come to light.
