This week has been rooster-centric for some reason. I’ve taken more than a few frame-worth shots of Blaze, Caesar and the P. Allen Smith roolets and wrote an article I have long intended to write on chicken mating. Rooster reproductive anatomy became a shocking subject of conversation at my sister’s house during Easter dinner (don’t ask) and I knew that if my family had such confusion over and questions about chicken sex, lots of others probably did too! If you missed that article, feel free to catch up with it here! Beyond that, the weather has been perfect for anything outdoors and I hope you enjoy some of the photos I shot while taking advantage of it!

If i won,i would start my first collection of Poultry memorabilia on the outdoor wall of my shed, where it is sheltered by a huge carport where i store all my Chickies treats, food & Hay/Straw,kind of like my little Domain,i already have a Horseshoe above the door which symbolizes good look it just needs more character.
