What a fantastic week it has been! All kinds of great goings-on, including buds opening on flowers and trees, temps in the eighties, new sponsors and opportunities knocking, justice doing its thing for the good guys and Blaze’s chicks hatching by the dozen! I’ll keep you updated on all of the above in due time. Please enjoy some of the photos taken in my chicken yard this week and Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms who have done or are doing The most important job in the world, bar none.

I’ve been hatching along with my old ratty Hova-bator (seriously, I found it in an old shed out back, it’s a miracle it still turns on) but I’ve certainly wished for the ease and better visibility of a brinsea!
How neat! I’d probably be in deep chick poo with my hubby. There would be no end to my madness. Lol
Happy Mother’s Day Kathy. I’m sure all this beautiful weather is keeping you very busy. Not only do I have a chicken addiction but also one with flowers. Running out of places to plant them. :)
Have a great week and thanks for another amazing giveaway!
I love my small flock of 5 but now our local feed stores don’t have more chick shipments for the year. This would definitely help expand our flock!
So far I have relied strictly on broodys it would be nice to have this as a back up plan.
