This week, ellen deHeneres and her adopted chicks moved from the brooder in the basement to the Big Girl Coop and within a few days they were fully integrated into the flock and foraging like pros!

They said I could be anything...so I became a dandelion.
Too much Monday, not enough coffee.
If someone says you have "enough" chickens & don't need any more, WALK AWAY. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

New to chicken life this spring. Our 7 love roosting on current feeder and pooping inside….gross! Would love to try a Grandpa's feeder to prevent this and also for rodent control.
Love your blog! My 2 children are sick of hearing me say, "the chicken chick says…"
