Flock Focus Friday, 4/4/14

The week started with a slushy mess of wet snow and ended with 60°F temperatures- Welcome to New England! Please enjoy some photos of my chickens this past week!

White Crested Black Polish hen — Doc Brown (White Crested Polish hen) at the beginning of the week.

Windy’s (Blue Splash Marans hen) face says it all.

Flock Focus Friday, 4/4/14 with The Chicken Chick® — Snow on March 31st, Mother Nature’s April Fool’s joke came a day early.

It was warm and sunny by the end of the week and Freida (White Silkie hen) enjoyed every minute of it.

Hi Kathy! I have a problem with egg-eaters. I have 15 girls and I only get 4-10 eggs a day(usually covered in a yolkie mess). What are the best ways to stop this behavior?

I love the egg basket. My hens and ducks have blessed us this Spring with 18 plus eggs a day. I could use the egg basket.
