As you can tell, it has been snowy and cold since the last Flock Focus Friday. The chickens and I have had enough! The weather-dude tells us that it’s going to warm up into the 40s this week, so you know what that means…let the flood gates open! <ugh> I’ve got a plan to make a floating bridge out of pallets, so at least the chickens have the opportunity to stay dry even if they don’t avail themselves of the life-raft. Hi,I’m down to 1 hen,a weasel has taken 5 others away.Flo now lives in the house,she is a Bantam Cochin.Soon I will be getting to pick from my friends show birds,where Flo came from,as soon as I get a weasel proof coop built.I will denfinately need an incubater,but I’m sure if I don’t get it my Hen’s will get the job done for me.You have some of the most beautiful chickens,Bless you and all those Beauties !
