As you can tell, it has been snowy and cold since the last Flock Focus Friday. The chickens and I have had enough! The weather-dude tells us that it’s going to warm up into the 40s this week, so you know what that means…let the flood gates open! <ugh> I’ve got a plan to make a floating bridge out of pallets, so at least the chickens have the opportunity to stay dry even if they don’t avail themselves of the life-raft. Pack it up and come to Alaska Kathy, we’re doing mud and slush this week and then it’s off to the races with spring hot on our heels. That incubator would come in mighty handy right about now.
Been looking at incubators on Amazon.com, but I’d much rather win one. :) We’re ready to have chickens again this year, and I’d love my kids to have the experience of tending the eggs and watching them hatch.
Would love to do this for our 4h group. So much to learn.
