We got pounded by Mother Nature ALL WEEK with snow storm after snow storm. It felt like the snow shovel never left my hands, but at least the temperatures were a little more moderate than they have been this winter, which makes me feel better about the comfort of my flock even though they remain primarily confined to the run.

Ice globes

Mr. Chicken Chick left one of these huge ornaments outside after taking it down from the coop this winter and it shattered because there was water inside. The ice globe that was inside the ornament made me want to add food coloring to water and make some more. So..I did. And it was fun!

I would absolutely LOVE to win this. I too have problems with wild birds partaking in the chicken feed. It is a worrisome problem since I have read wild birds can carry disease that can be passed to chickens. Not to mention the wasted feed. So this feeder would kill two birds with one stone – no pun intended. Feed my chickens and keep the birds out of the feed! Thanks Chicken Chick for the wonderful offer!

I remember the mess of feeders and waterers when I was growing up. UGH! This is a fantastic design and I would love to win. I love following you and how much I keep learning. And I did comment on that nasty page before they took it down. You have lots of supporters!
