Well I never really thought using the traditional heat lamps was that bad UNTIL today! I got 6 baby chicks last week and today the lamp fell down in the box, freaking out the chicks who got the waterer splashed on them & got super overheated with the lamp on the floor. When I found them they had dried but down was 'crispy' from the perspiration & poopy water – they've been washed and blow dried & seem to have recovered but I have LEARNED my lesson! Hope I win one :)

I would really love to win this, I want to have chicks from my polish pair and love to see them grow up and grow their beautiful feathers!!!!!
