From a chicken photography perspective, this week hasn’t been ideal, but we did see the sun briefly and I took advantage of it whenever possible. In between sub-zero temperatures and temps in the mid 50s, there was flooding, mud and general discontent. We’re all looking forward to the end of winter and brighter days ahead!
The middle of the week featured a warm-up and flooding like we’ve never seen before. It was decidedly a drag as I bailed out the basement as well as the chicken runs.

Would love to win this giveaway! I see mice in my coop all the time and I know they're cozy and well fed. Gross to think of them running through the chickens food!
My husband and I just bought a small 6 acre farm in my hometown. I used to have chickens once upon a time and always said should we be able to buy our own farm some day that I would have chickens again. I am so happy to say that we got our chickens! 19 to be exact. I had full grown chickens the first time and this time we bought all chicks. Pages like yours help me to be a better chick mom.
