The legal drama over my chickens continued to heat up this week as irate supporters of mine inundated town hall with email and phone calls. Last week the story broke in the newspaper and television media picked up on it this week. One news station was so anxious to scoop the story that they knocked on my door unannounced!
My inbox and phone have been ringing for interview requests, allowing me little time to focus on much else, but I’m hoping the end is near so I can get back to writing about more glamorous chicken-related topics like poop and bumblefoot!

Just brought home my first ever 4 chickens one week ago. They are coming up on 16 weeks old. No eggs for awhile but the egg skelter would be cool when the time comes!
I am not even sure my comments are being received. When I hit "post" I see "awaiting approval" and then I never see any of my comments again. Am I doing something wrong? I have registered via email, I follow on FB and I read everything I can about chickens. So far, your site wins as far as excellent information. Never mind the give-aways, although I'm not saying I wouldn't love to win something, the information you provide is awesome and I thank you for it.
Found out a couple of days ago that my new hen is a rooster. Crowing never lies. Have been told that all I need to do is refrigerate eggs in order to stop fertilization. Will the egg skeeter fit in the frig. I need all the help I can get.
Cool!
Oh! I've been wanting one of these. What a great prize!
