It was a difficult week here at Blazing Trails Farm with the unexpected passing of Brutus, my six month old Mille Fleur Serama cockerel. He had a special place in my heart I am thankful for the time I had to appreciate his beauty, confidence and spunk while he was here. He was a joy to photograph and I have chosen to celebrate his life by continuing to share his larger-than-life personality through them. RIP little buddy.
This is how Brutus would have wanted to be remembered. ☺ I know Brutus would have been thrilled to know that his necropsy report noted his “well developed testicles.” Atta boy, Brutus.

So sorry for your loss! :(
My kids and grandson must think I'm crazy cuz I talk about Brutus like I lost a close family member. Thinkin of you often.
I'm so sorry to hear that Brutus passed away. He was such a handsome rooster & I really enjoyed getting to see pictures & video of him. I hope your pain & grief will ease soon. I also hope you find out soon what caused his death.
Sending lots of love & hugs your way.
Yayyyyyy!!! Looks like im the first to comment!! Does that help to win?? :) Love the pics of Brutus!! Still tear up when i see them. I cant imagine how you feel.. :( I know what i felt like when my little silkie aquired a lump on her chest. It was as you said, must have been the crop. Lump is allllll gone and shes back to her normal spunky self. Thank you for all your informational blogs and give aways!!
We are very lucky to have the precious animal babies we have. Some we have for very long time and some for only a short time. But each and every one has a special place in our heart and will never be forgotten. I am so sorry for you loss. I can imagine Brutus crowing by the rainbow bridge waiting patiently to once again dance for his girls and see his buddy Blaze.
