It was a difficult week here at Blazing Trails Farm with the unexpected passing of Brutus, my six month old Mille Fleur Serama cockerel. He had a special place in my heart I am thankful for the time I had to appreciate his beauty, confidence and spunk while he was here. He was a joy to photograph and I have chosen to celebrate his life by continuing to share his larger-than-life personality through them. RIP little buddy.
This is how Brutus would have wanted to be remembered. ☺ I know Brutus would have been thrilled to know that his necropsy report noted his “well developed testicles.” Atta boy, Brutus.

My message was cut off before I could tell you how much I'd enjoyed following Brutus. He was adoràble and humorous to watch. I loved how he would get puffed up and think he was a big Rooster:)
I learn new chicken info every day! I would love to try the herbal fusion. I just added 3 more pullets to my flock and want to curb the chicken "perfume". I had to separate my lead Rhode Island Red because she is bullying them.
*sigh* :(
He looks like an incredibly great little rooster!
