It was a difficult week here at Blazing Trails Farm with the unexpected passing of Brutus, my six month old Mille Fleur Serama cockerel. He had a special place in my heart I am thankful for the time I had to appreciate his beauty, confidence and spunk while he was here. He was a joy to photograph and I have chosen to celebrate his life by continuing to share his larger-than-life personality through them. RIP little buddy.
This is how Brutus would have wanted to be remembered. ☺ I know Brutus would have been thrilled to know that his necropsy report noted his “well developed testicles.” Atta boy, Brutus.

What a wonderful way to honor the life of Brutus. I got giggles when hearing his crowing experiment at 7 weeks. He will definitely be missed.
I hope you get the full diagnosis soon! When I had one necropsied they got back to me very fast, on the prelim and the final report!
So sorry for your loss. He was such a handsome boy! His memory will live in the hearts of many for a long time!
So sorry about your rooster. I enjoyed looking at his photos.
I follow with GFC.
I'm so so sorry to hear this, he was a gorgeous boy and gosh I laughed at some of your pictures!! I would be so horrified if he was poisoned, how could anyone hurt a beautiful animal :(
