It was a difficult week here at Blazing Trails Farm with the unexpected passing of Brutus, my six month old Mille Fleur Serama cockerel. He had a special place in my heart I am thankful for the time I had to appreciate his beauty, confidence and spunk while he was here. He was a joy to photograph and I have chosen to celebrate his life by continuing to share his larger-than-life personality through them. RIP little buddy.
This is how Brutus would have wanted to be remembered. ☺ I know Brutus would have been thrilled to know that his necropsy report noted his “well developed testicles.” Atta boy, Brutus.

What a beautiful way to honor Brutus. They you talk about Brutus reminds me of my Loverboy. He's 4 months old (barnyard breed…a/k/a unknown) and every morning when I open up the coop, he comes running out and flies to the top of my head and crows. Then he jumps to my shoulder waiting for me to hand feed him breakfast. I just love him!!
great photos, I really like the weathervane competition, so cute.
So poison is not the cause? which is a good thing, but is it like a heart attack?
