It was a difficult week here at Blazing Trails Farm with the unexpected passing of Brutus, my six month old Mille Fleur Serama cockerel. He had a special place in my heart I am thankful for the time I had to appreciate his beauty, confidence and spunk while he was here. He was a joy to photograph and I have chosen to celebrate his life by continuing to share his larger-than-life personality through them. RIP little buddy.
This is how Brutus would have wanted to be remembered. ☺ I know Brutus would have been thrilled to know that his necropsy report noted his “well developed testicles.” Atta boy, Brutus.

Excellent tribute to Brutus. We all loved him! So much spunk in such a little package and cute as a button! Thank you for sharing your feathered family with us.
Awww I'm so sorry to hear about poor Brutus. It's so hard when we lose one we love! You did a wonderful job of memorializing him through your amazing photos. I especially love the alarm clock one! Rest in peace little buddy.
I loved how he would strut!
I am sorry about Brutus, he was a handsome little guy and I am sure the ladies and Blaze miss him too, he lived a wonderful life that a rooster could only dream of, even if it was a short life it was good.
Poor boy! Look forward to hearing the final results. So sorry for your loss!
