The long holiday weekend started with rain, which was welcome as last week’s heat was beginning to take a toll on everyone, including Doc Brown’s “hair.” But the rest of the week was amazingly beautiful, which provided ample opportunity to enjoy, admire and photograph both my chickens and a variety of flowers in the yard. Oh, my ladies gobble up the mealworms!
I am so glad I found you via a friend of mine sent me info.. we are just getting started with our chicks.. Got them after they were hatched on the 2nd day.. they are 8 weeks old and growing. i would love to win anything from your site.. and there are so many helpful hints.. We are in NC,, have a nice coop and a big shade tree for them..thank for all the info you all post.. <3

I just gave my girls mealworms for the first time today. Holy Cow!!!! They were on them like nobody's business! How many times can I enter here? lol
My flock would gobble this all up!
