This week would have been perfect but for the stomach flu that leveled me for a good 48 hours. I did manage to sneak outside during a delusional spell to snap a few pics only to regret that decision very quickly. I recovered in time to enjoy the remainder of the week though and it was spectacular! Please enjoy the photos of my peeps and thanks for visiting!
My P. Allen Smith babies are GINORMOUS. They’re feathering out like crazy and revealing their genders. From what I can tell, there is a male Silver Laced Wyandotte, a female Black White Faced Spanish, a female Barred Plymouth Rock and a pair of Silver Grey Dorkings! Not shown are a Buff Orpington female, and a Light Sussex male with an attitude as big as any I have ever seen in a chick!

My girls would LOVE treats, they are also loving the river sand in the coop (tyvm) and so am I. Took me almost no time to scoop poop on Sat.
My chicks LOVE mealworms! I have seen these at the feed store and I always mean to pick some up for them. I know they would go crazy for them!
Kathy – glad you felt good enough to snap some pictures. They are always great. Wondering how you are figuring out what the babies will grow up to be? Process of elimination based on parents? I have 12 heritage breed chick that came from a group of 40 possible types. Think I am just guessing what type at this point!!
My girls love Happy Hen Treats! This would be great!
My girls would love the treats, however, they have a ball like the one pictured, and are scared to death of it! They are a funny lot! I'm going to try putting watermelon in it and securing it to the run instead of hanging the ball so it doesn't swing. I wish they would act like normal chickens and not be afraid of the treat ball!
