Glad to hear that Blaze is getting better! I have 6 Black Copper Marans chicks that are 3 1/2 weeks old. I am hoping for 5 hens and 1 rooster, but it is begining to look like I am going to end up with way too many roos :( Hoping I will be able to find good homes for them when the time comes.
I'm with Barbara. Waiting for my hens to start laying is like waiting for Christmas morning :)
So happy Blaze is doing better! I love your site, I have learned so much from you. I hate to keep signing on as a guest but whenever I put in a password they tell me my email is already in use and 'do you already have an account?' not how to find the obviously wrong password. I usually write all passwords down when I set up accounts but I seem to have missed this one. I have a book I call the book of stupid codes or stupid's book of codes, depending on my mood!
I like eggs, and I now have my own chickens. I can't wait untill they start laying:-) Ruth Firl
I am using an old wicker basket that I repurposed from someplace along the line. I bought some more layers this spring so I'm hoping I'll need a bigger basket this summer! :)
