The circle of life played out in the backyard this week and while we welcomed new flock members, we said goodbye to Spartacus who crossed the rainbow bridge. RIP pretty boy.

Hi I'm new to the blog and the world of chickens. I have 4 that are about 1 1/2 months old now. I have raised them since they were 2 days old. I'm still in the learning phase of things and your blogs have been very helpful. Now I have to figure out how to tell if I have pullets or roosters (got them straight run).
My girls and roo definitely need this. I would love to win!
