Have a question about chicken breeds. Have always had heritage breeds, barnevelders, Brahmas, and Brown leghorns. I now have a small flock of 4 very friendly rescue chickens (all ISA browns). They seem much lighter then my other girls have been in the past. Is this normal? Are they such a lighter chicken? They lay well, are fully wormed, and seem generally very content. Any thoughts…??

These are already committed. Depending on where you live, I got my chickies from a lady just east of Lee, Maine. She advertises in Uncle Henry’s.

I would love one. I have some heritage chickens I would love to breed.

Didn’t know where to ask. But, how can I introduce newly hatched chicks to month old chicks?
