Throughout March and April, I had the privilege of travelling to Tractor Supply Stores in Connecticut and Massachusetts during Chick Days to chat chickens & meet fellow chickeneers! I love my job! When I haven’t been on the road, I’ve been working on some pretty exciting stuff that I can’t wait to share with you, so stay tuned for updates soon!
In between visits to Tractor Supply stores, I was paid a visit by WFSB, Channel 3, the CBS Local Affiliate in Connecticut for a feature story on their Better Connecticut program! Click on the photo below or HERE to view the video.
SO cool to meet longtime Facebook follower, Travis Anderson, and so many other followers and chicken keepers in person!
What would a Flock Focus Friday be without the chicken memes?!
Thanks for visiting, have a great week!

One of my chicks favs!! Please enter me in the contest. Looks like y’all such fun at TSC!! You need to come to central KY?
Love the pictures of your flock, tractor supply looks like a blast.
So happy to finally let our two new 4 month old silkie chicks join our full grown hen (Black Astrolorp). She lost her sister to an eagle attack and has been so lonely since. She circled the “playpen” with the silkies in it for about a week. Then we slowly let them dine together. No signs of aggression so now they mingle. Lucy (hen) is so happy to have friends again!!!! (safe from eagles, no longer free ranging….pen secured top, bottoms and sides)
We love Chubby Meal Worms! (well, my chickens do…)
Was Rachel doing a “Meet and Greet” with her fans? :-)
