As you can tell, it has been snowy and cold since the last Flock Focus Friday. The chickens and I have had enough! The weather-dude tells us that it’s going to warm up into the 40s this week, so you know what that means…let the flood gates open! <ugh> I’ve got a plan to make a floating bridge out of pallets, so at least the chickens have the opportunity to stay dry even if they don’t avail themselves of the life-raft. We would love an incubator my sons ns 7 and his class had one of these last yr and he’s been dying to hatch eggs. he doesn’t completely understand the whole process since he’s also been begging to get more roosters so all the chickens can be in love lol. We tried to explain they are all in love with the one rooster but he thinks each chicken needs its own rooster to be in love with.
I would love to win this! I’m hoping to add to my flock! Nothing cuter than a baby chick! :)
