Spring struggled mightily to arrive as scheduled this week, but more of winter’s freezing temperatures over-stayed their welcome. There is light at the end of the tunnel though as we look forward to temps in the 50s this coming week.

Flock Focus Friday 3/27/14 with a Farm Innovators Nest Box GIVEAWAY!
I have to believe that drinking the snow melt is my flock’s idea of helping erase The Eternal Winter.
Spartacus. Open arms for Blaze’s welcome back to the flock after his protracted stay in the infirmary?
Blaze. Hugs for Spartacus?
Blaze and Spartacus squared off.
Not so much.

All in one basket.

Karman's just sharpening her nails and finishing her drink She said she'll be with you shortly.
Seriously?
I will be amused AFTER my coffee.
You call it Thursday, I call it Friday Eve.
Coffee- Because prison orange is not my color.
It might not kill me to skip coffee this morning...but I'm not willing to risk it.
Heads or tails? You make the call.
The first five days after the weekend are always the hardest.
They said I could be anything...so I became a cotton ball.
I'm sorry you had to see me before my morning coffee.
COFFEE: Better living through massive caffeine consumption.
Yah baby...it's FRIDAY!
Coffee cannot fix this kind of tired.

Wow, my silkies feathers are all in her eyes all the time except for recently. I think she dunks her head in the dogs water to get them out of her eyes, lol.

I am picking up my Coop from Amish country this weekend with my 2 boys and husband and am in desperate need of as much wisdom and advice I can get…I think I found the place! Thanks Kathy! Looking forward to embarking on this journey with you as my sherpa!

My girls are coming right along. Xena is smaller but feistier than Gabrielle. They are out of their box and pooing all over the bathroom but their big girl feathers are halfway in!
