Spring struggled mightily to arrive as scheduled this week, but more of winter’s freezing temperatures over-stayed their welcome. There is light at the end of the tunnel though as we look forward to temps in the 50s this coming week.

I have to believe that drinking the snow melt is my flock’s idea of helping erase The Eternal Winter.

I so need the egg basket and it would look great on my dinning room table or kitchen counter. I carry my eggs in from the coop in my pocket.

Enjoy your blog and learning so much as our new chicks grow. We put them outside last night for the first night of there life and all was good. Was hard on us also. Is nice to have a couple chicks run up to you when you visit them. Keep up the good work and would really enjoy the egg basket
