Here in Northern Connecticut, we have had an unusually snow-free winter, for which my flock and I are tremendously grateful. But, after 60°F temperatures on Thursday, we were treated to 8″ of snow and temps in the teens. As Hartford native, Mark Twain once said of New England: “if you don’t like the weather, wait a minute.” Please enjoy the photos.

Well, though cold in the South too, we are fixing to have our 4th snow outside. Temps can be in the teens and even single digits, plus lower with the wind chill here in the GA/NC mtns. That flat panel heater is looking good to both me and the girls. Stay warm y’all… :-)
Well, even in the South, we have some cold days and nights. The teens at night and even single digits come around all too frequently. We’re expecting our 4th snow outside now…it is forecast for 2 days. That flat panel heater is looking mighty good to me, and even better to the girls! Stay warm y’all… :-)
I’ve been eyeing that flat panel heater for a while now. Would be great to win it!
Fun photos, would love the heater for my girls.
I have a heat panel in my coop for emergencies, -10 and lower, to keep it at least 30 degrees (that’s the lowest mine will set at). I’ll check out this one though as it’s only 125 watts vs. my 400. So glad your always looking for better ways to do the same old thing.
