There was flooding outside the coop, but the sand was mighty fine for dust bathing!
Not everyone had the luxury of a dust bath, however. Bertha, our new Partridge Cochin who is still in quarantine, needed a good ol’ water bath. She doesn’t look like she enjoyed it, but trust me, she did!

Hello Chicken Chick and family, AND flock! :) The basket is über cute! I was looking through all the above pics and had to giggle a bit. We have been waiting and waiting for more and more rain and snow here in Northern Cali!! We've been in a drought and even though we finally got a couple good storms, we need MUCH more.
