We welcomed a new member into our flock family just in time for my birthday this week: Milo, a 3 month old Yorkshire Terrier with an impressive pedigree, was escorted from South Carolina by his breeder to New York City, a short car ride from his forever home here in Connecticut! He walked into the house like he owned the joint and stole all of our hearts with his affectionate, playful personality. Please enjoy some of the photos taken since the last Flock Focus Friday!

No the hens are 10 months old and 1 that’s 2 yrs old. They do lay eggs, although right now some of them are molting. I have 2 Mil de Flores(sorry about spelling) that I keep separate. I hen has a twisted beak but she can hang with the other hen and keep her own.
Do you have any ideas about how to help my twisted beak hen?
Thanks for the reply.
I would love to win anything for my chickens and love to read about you and yours. But, why do you make it so hard to enter the giveaways?
It would be like Christmas all over again for my flock. Mealworms are like candy in our coops. Love your blogs!
