We welcomed a new member into our flock family just in time for my birthday this week: Milo, a 3 month old Yorkshire Terrier with an impressive pedigree, was escorted from South Carolina by his breeder to New York City, a short car ride from his forever home here in Connecticut! He walked into the house like he owned the joint and stole all of our hearts with his affectionate, playful personality. Please enjoy some of the photos taken since the last Flock Focus Friday!

My chicks would love to win some mealworms, they love them.
The girls would go crazy for a mealworm treat! From the pictures, we can tell it, indeed, has been a brutal winter for you way up North. Your little Milo is precious, although I would be scared of having such a wee little dog around our house (could be tripped on, stepped on too easily). We prefer the full-size version of canine companions (have Labs, Springer Spaniel & Golden Retriever)…. Hope winter eases up on you & keeping my fingers crossed for the treats!
Welcome Milo! Kathy, I’m waiting for you to publish a book with all your helpful articles that you share here. Filled with wonderful photos of your flock! And mealworms are a favorite with my ladies. Lobster for me or mealworms for the gals? The little feathered family members are getting spoiled this year because of the cold weather!
My girls LOVE mealworms!!!
One of my girls decided it was time to molt a couple weeks ago, she would love to have these to help her grow out new feathers. Silly chicken, mid winter. LOL
