This week was busy as I worked on finishing up two magazine articles, but it was a bit of a challenge with one of my girls (human child, that is) home sick. She’s fine, but I’m a little bit behind. Such is the life of a self-employed, work-from-home mom. :)

Blaze (Black Copper Marans rooster) is a very involved dad to his gaggle of babies and now spends a good portion of his day chasing his son, Sparky, away from the ladies.

The feathered babies worked on getting bigger and with unusually mild temperatures for November in New England, they got to spend quite a bit of time outside, learning the foraging ropes from their moms.

Iris’ chicks are getting big, this little Black Copper Marans chick was practicing its roosting skills.

Iris (Olive Egger hen) and the Littles (Black Copper Marans or Olive Egger chicks) enjoy the mild temps as papa Blaze keeps a close eye on the yard.

I would Love to win these egg cartons.. They would really come in handy because I have ran out of my usual cartons. Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures and blogs with us… Peace✌Love?and Chickens???..

My friend has quite a few chickens and these cartons would be the perfect thing for her as she is always either giving eggs away for free or she sells them! We are always giving her egg cartons as she seems to be running low all the time! Thank you so much for the chance and I left the comment on their page as well!

Oh I love all your babies! Wish I could get good pictures of mine when they are out playing…I would love some Egg Cartons for all the Eggs!
