I feed them fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers almost every day in a big pan in their run right before I go to work. I also add watermelon and grapes when I can. They’ll eat most of what I give, but sometimes dried remnants remain which I clean out twice a week. Last year I didn’t have any flies. But I’m guessing from your comment that is what caught up with me. They get to free range for a couple of hours each day in good weather. Maybe I shouldn’t feed them so much fresh produce?
